The practice of herbal steaming of the perineum assists in the cleansing of the uterus and helps to achieve optimal health of the reproductive organs. Vaginal steam baths are known as “Bajos”in Central America, and are a powerful adjunct to the Arvigo sessions. They are found to be helpful in alleviating a variety of symptoms and creating a meditative, focused state in which a woman is able to engage her inner healing resources. Improvements in painful or irregular periods, uterine prolapse, uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, and endometriosis have been reported, as well as enhancement of postpartum and post miscarriage healing. Includes a guided meditation to increase the relaxation response, and inspire self-awareness.
