Rainforest Remedies are herbal formulations from the rainforests of Belize, which enhance the benefits of the Arvigo Techniques®. Drawn from centuries old Maya healing traditions, the blends are based on Rosita Arvigo‘s formulations, taught to her by the healer and herbalist, Don Elijio Panti, who had an “encyclopedic knowledge” of the healing plants of Central America. Rosita created an incredible archive of data, and brought in organizations to study and write about the benefits of these plants further. The Rainforest Remedy blends have been sold in the United States, Central America, and Europe since 1992. Roughly 20% of the proceeds from the company help to fund community projects in Belize, including the “Summer Bush Medicine Camp”, where children in Belize learn about the historical uses of plants for healing, ensuring the continuation of this invaluable knowledge, as was requested by Don Elijio when he took Rosita as his apprentice.
